Ronda Walker is a dedicated wife, mother, and business owner with deep roots in Montgomery. A respected public servant, she served for a decade on the Montgomery County Commission, affectionately earning the nickname “The Voice of Reason” for her pragmatic leadership.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Troy University and a master’s degree from the University of Hawaii. Ronda’s early career included serving on the legislative staff of U.S. Senator Richard Shelby and working with Congresswoman Martha Roby. She also spent five years as a professional development speaker and trainer at Troy University.
Now in the private sector, Ronda supports her husband, Jason, in running Pate Landscape Company, an award-winning firm known for its strong culture built on credibility and trust.
Active members of First Baptist Church, Montgomery, Ronda and Jason have four children: two married sons, a college son, and a high school daughter. The family enjoys traveling, hiking, watching sports, and spending time at Lake Martin.
